My research interests converge around early intervention and autism with a focus on the parent-child relationship as a medium for promoting social communication at the preverbal level for toddlers with autism. I currently serve as Principal Investigator for a randomized controlled study of the Building Interactive Social Communication (BISC) intervention for toddlers with autism, a project funded by the National Center for Special ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Research, Institute for ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Sciences. I developed, coordinated, and taught in the Preparing Educators for Students with Autism graduate certificate program.
