As a rising high school senior (current junior) in our future educators' program, you'll spend one week overnight immersed in the vibrant community at Indiana University-Bloomington, staying in our on-campus residence halls where you'll explore your passion for education. You'll engage in informational sessions and activities to help you make informed, personalized decisions about your collegiate and career paths in teaching or counseling. This is a FREE event (food and lodging will be covered).
Applications will open in February 2027.
The new Future Educators Program in the School of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø will create an opportunity for students from a wide range of backgrounds to explore careers in teaching. Indiana high school juniors interested in teacher education, counseling, and careers in student services are encouraged to apply. For consideration, applicants should be:
Students who attend this program are encouraged to consider Indiana University-Bloomington (IUB) School of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (SOE) in their college choice process. Factor Future Educator students who choose to enroll at IUB SOE will receive a comprehensive continuum of support throughout their college education.

Factor Future Educators is more than a summer camp; it’s an opportunity to experience college life, explore careers in education, and begin imagining yourself as a future educator. Throughout the week, students live on the IU Bloomington campus, connect with faculty and current students, explore academic programs and campus resources, and build relationships with other future educators.
Join us for an inspiring week that will empower you to pursue a meaningful career as a teacher or counselor.

| Tuesday | ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Without Borders | Explore education from a global perspective, including international experiences and study abroad. Learn about different academic pathways in education and visit some of IU's cultural and community spaces. |
| Wednesday | Access & Opportunities in College | Learn about the people, programs, and resources that help students succeed in college—from mentoring and financial support to academic advising. Explore the Indiana Memorial Union and hear from recent graduates about their IU experiences. |
| Thursday | Your Future in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø | Begin connecting your interests to your future. Explore careers and academic pathways in education, hear from School of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø leadership, learn about college admissions and financial wellness, and celebrate your talents with the FFE community. |
