My research focuses on bringing social justice principles into educational practice, with a specific focus on supporting Jewish youth in K-12 schools. My current projects include: (1) a national qualitative study of Jewish high school students, (2) coordinating an interdisciplinary research collaborative bridging faculty and Jewish communal professionals focused on Jewish students in K-12 schools, (3) a qualitative study of the views of minoritized school psychologists as relates to social justice and cultural humility, (4) guest-editing two journal theme issues on cultural humility and school psychology, and (5) two studies on school psychology and social justice through a global lens. I am a faculty affiliate of Indiana University's . I have chaired approximately 35-40 completed dissertations related to different aspects of cultural diversity, consultation, and/or social justice in education and lead an active research team that is open to students at all graduate and undergraduate levels. I am accepting new doctoral students for Fall 2027.

I am happily married and have two amazing children, one daughter and one son.
