Patricia Kubow, Professor, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, and Seonmi Jin, Ph.D. candidate, Higher ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and Student Affairs, have been selected for the 2024 Best Paper Award for Research on Teaching Comparative and International ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
Their paper, “," will be presented at the Comparative and International ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Society Conference in Miami, Florida, on March 13.
The paper, recently published in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Sciences, establishes an ontological and pedagogical conceptualization of how comparative and international education can prepare students to develop “glonacal,” or global, national, and local agency by interrogating the concept of space and attending to students’ sense of being in the context of education and agency development.
