Gamze Ozogul was recently selected to participate in leadership programs offered by the Big Ten Academic Alliance. Ozogul, Professor and Department Chair, was chosen for the Departmental Executive Officer Program, a three-day workshop involving department heads and chairs from Big Ten Academic Alliance institutions.
“Leadership can take many forms, from supporting a colleague through a tough decision to shaping the future of a school or campus,” said Carrie Docherty, vice provost for faculty and academic affairs. “These programs provide our faculty with space to grow as leaders and collaborators. I’m grateful to work alongside those selected for the Big Ten Leadership Institute cohorts and look forward to the ways they will share their talents with IU.”
