IU School of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students celebrated a special milestone last week when they received their official name badges during the Undergraduate Induction Ceremony. These badges will be used when they work in schools this year as part of their student teaching or practicum requirements.
The event celebrates the important milestone in the students’ journeys to earning their degree. For students in traditional teaching programs, this signifies the start of their field experiences. For Counseling and Student Services students, it marks the beginning of their internship. The program included a welcome and recognition from Dean Robert Berry, a short encouragement from an upperclass student, and a brief send-off from Associate Dean Meredith Park Rogers - and even included a special appearance from IU mascot Hoosier the Bison.
Congratulations to all our students as they prepare to embark on their clinical experiences.
