Academic minors may be listed on a School of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø student’s official transcript. Minors will not be listed in the Convocation Program or on the diploma. Academic minors are not intended to be a subject-specific teaching license.
School of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø undergraduate students who wish to declare a minor should contact their assigned academic advisor and request an update to their program or schedule an appointment with their advisor using SAS to discuss.
Undergraduate students from outside the School of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø should contact their major program advisor, schedule an appointment or request an update to their program using their School or College's request form. The School of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Recorder cannot add minors to non-education student programs.
Undergraduate students from outside the School of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø with interest in School of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø minors regarding requirements, expectations or outcomes can email educadv@iu.edu with inquiries, but not for the purpose of declaring a minor.
